For the cars built in America with the money going back to an American automaker, they get the full rebate. If its imported by a foreign automaker then it gets nothing. Everything else is 50% of what it would otherwise be. An American made Honda would get the same rebate as a Mexican Chevy. But for one reason or another (I'm betting on lobbyists from foreign automakers) the bill never turned out like that.

Well you are one person just as I am one person. I currently drive an 03 Explorer Eddie Bauer V8, and it is a great vehicle. The ride is very smooth as is the acceleration and transmission. The 4WD has saved me many times in ice and snow, and it works really well on the trails and mud out in Land Between the Lakes. I have had but just two problems with the vehicle, both of them being very very minor. One of the brake pressure sensors went out with the only consequence being the cruise control not working. That was a 2 minute fix with a $20 part. The other is one of my AC hoses has a very very very slight leak in it. Neither of these problems are deal breakers in my book. I have out roughly 5-6k miles on the vehicle since I bought it and have had no regrets since.

Everyone I know are getting Honda's out the wazoo. And about the Ford Explorer thing, one reason people are getting rid of them is because they don't need them (kids are grown up etc...)
And if they need something like an Explorer, they'll go out and get a Tahoe or Suburban, they look a hundred time more classy.

Hey genius, here is a bit of schooling for you.....The Mustang is the only car of the three (Camaro, Challenger, Mustang) built in America. Flat Rock Michigan to be exact. Where are Camaros built?

Not at this time. I purchased a new Corvette in 96'. Have you ever bought a new Corvette?
I am curious though...If I did own a GM product, would Mustangs be built outside the U.S.??? I really fail to see how my owning a GM product or not is relevant to this thread??? I get it, you have made it clear you don't like me... You have no idea how bummed out I am.....
