I've seen it without the cover somewhere...can't remember where.

7,000 pounds towing with the V6?!

So I take it that means we can expect a towing figure above 8,000 pounds for the diesel?

Hard to say...that towing figured is based on more than just pulling power. If the 7,000 lb limit is because of the brakes, and if the brakes are the same on the diesel then won't the towing limit be the same?

Just food for thought.

I'd expect the braking on any new vehicle will never be the limiting factor(within reason). Towing capacity will be limited by power and suspension.

anyone see a pic of the new Nissan Frontier? The Front end sure looks like the new Colorado! Even the foglights have the same shape and placement

They can insist on that but you can't blame the average person for thinking its the next evolution of the frontier cause it does look like one.

I just hope the power train and interior are updated on the frontier.

The new Navara won't be exactly the same as the US version, but the magazines seem to think while the US version may have different specs, it will look similar to this. I'm not too fond of it...I do see the similarities to the Colorado, but this Navara just doesn't look as good to me as the Colorado and for sure the Canyon.

Also, we won't see the new Frontier until next year, so it will come a little later. The Navara will have a 7 speed auto, which that alone would be a good MPG boost for frontier, but if Nissan gives the Frontier new fuel efficent engines, I can see it actually being more efficent (but with less tow/haul ratings) than the GM duo. I'd expect a diesel option for the next Frontier. The Navara offers two diesel options, but the US spec will likely offer gas and diesel.

Especially with heavily discounted Silverados.

I'm getting tired of the ZQ8 suspension in my Colorado as a daily driver.
