Yeah, I am well aware of 4 doors = sedan. The pics didn't display until I posted my response. But I have no interest in a dressed up sedan.

IMO, to stick "SS" parts on a sedan is a waste of parts.

You're right, any cars with 4 doors totally can't be fast right?

No, "SS" parts just seem misplaced on a sedan IMO.

yeah, I guess the G8 is a slow car.

Anyway the GM performance branch is dead for now.
As far as I know the only performance vehicles on the GM lineup are the Corvette, Camaro, and the CTS-V.

I feel the same way....I feel there shouldn't be an SS badge on anything less than 8 cylinders and more than 2 doors.

Even if it would be faster than 8 cylinders and have more than 2 doors?

I am about to RETIRE my 2009 Malibu 2LT V6, as I approach our 6000 mile demo limit. We are in the middle of the model year change, so I don't know what I'll be driving next. Since 6000 miles takes me about 4-5 months to accumulate, and that that fluffy white stuff is around the corner, I may go AWD Traverse.

If you'd like my Malibu, I can get you a price - and would gladly sign the dash, if desired

I don't even think speed has anything to do with my perception of an SS....
I think it's more of how it used to be....
