What kind of wood is it? Are you looking to paint to completely change the color, change color(green for example) but leave wood grain, or just stain it?

Change the color completely. I would like it to be really shinny finish.. Almost like a car finish.. Obviously its wood so idk if possible

It would be hard to get wood to a mirror type finish. I mean you could honestly do some gloss spray paint and gloss clear coat. That would provide your best reflective surface. I've never done that so I have no idea of the durability, but people spray paint words on boards all the time and they stay so what the heck.

Yeah I figured.. Just wasted to see if anyone knew what type of paint I need to use.. Primer? Sanding? Can I use the same that I have used for most of my car parts? Different paint?
