Ok, sorry to bring this back to life, but I'm having the same issue with my 2012. I originally posted on the 1st page of this thread that the fit was perfect. That was on my 2011. When I installed them on my 2012, I noticed that it has the boot over the steering knuckle (both cars are manual transmission). It was rubbing so I cut the boot off, thinking that was the problem. Now any time I turn right the knuckle hits the headers and sticks until I jerk it free. Only when I turn right and it's consistent. There are marks on the header from the metal on metal action. I don't know what minor changes might have been made to the placement of the steering shaft on the 2012s, but it's ridiculous and definitely unsafe that my steering binds up every time I take a right turn. I've had numerous scares where I've had to jerk the s**t out of the wheel at the last second before I plowed into another car because it got stuck. Does anyone know of any way to adjust the position of the steering shaft/knuckle? I'm dead set against taking the header off and dimpling it but I will as a last resort.

Sorry to hear that. In the instructions for the headers they say you can move the steering column so the knuckle is out of the way. On my 2011 I was maybe able to move it 1/4' and still had it rubbint

On another subject, when I called DT back in June/July of last year about this, I was told I'd get a call when they finally had made the corrected ones so I could get a replacement... I'm still waiting on my phone call. Probably should just call them myself.

Don't know if there is an issue with 2011's but I am having the same issue hitting the steering shaft with another brand. This seems to either be coming from early designed headers based on 2010 cars or there is an inconsistency on occasion with the bending process.

Most put a dent in the header where it is touching! Thats the most quickest fix!
