If you want to spout your conservative views, go to the FreeRepublic. You will find plenty of people who will pat you on the back regarding your views. However, not everyone on here thinks the way you do and to discuss politics on a car site, will only incite arguments and create hard feelings. Let's not do it here on Camraro5.

The additional 2 billion dollars is NOT...repeat, NOT new money. It comes out of the $25 billion pool of money set aside for efficient vehicle development loans for the automakers. The money is still being used as intended -- to increase the efficiency of the American Fleet, and to aid the automakers during that process. Don't get your panties in a twist over the money.
