Over 2 million more recalls

GM just announced over 2 million more recalls today. Seems they might just as well buy back every car they made since 2002 and call it quits. They did NOTHING right, even on the 2015's. What secrets lurk in the Camaros that are hidden?

Our Camaros are going to be recalled...for being too awesome.

It's a distraction to other drivers.

I hope that is all they are recalled for! So far, mine has been pretty damn good. My Solstices, however....a nightmare from hell

The regulations are so stringent now, a manufacturer has to recall a car/truck if buyers think the seats smell funny. A lot of these recalls are for very minor things.

The only problems I've had with my 2011 are with the factory head unit when it's connected to my Zune (don't laugh). Mechanically, physically, I've had zero problems. In fact I really appreciate the quality engineering that went into my Camaro.

But...There are MAJOR issues in other cars, still being ignored. Bad airbag seat sensors, interior door handles breaking, slashing hands and making it impossible to open the door from the inside. (In a wreck, what then?) Hope that does not wait for us in the future.

And that's a good thing. I'd rather have a few voluntary recalls than one big mandatory recall.

My wife and I have owned nothing but GM products for the last 19 years, and never a major problem. I hope everyone gets their cars fixed, but I have no doubt in the quality of our current Camaro.

If a topic does not involve the Camaro, it does not belong in 5th Gen General.
