I will say this about Fox. As an entertainment company, they are without question the most inspiring network out there. I don't watch Fox shows, but my wife does. She's gone through more than a few of their shows on Netflix, and they do produce quality programming year after year. Regrettably, an entertainment company that offers sports and dramas also offers news, which suggests to me that they have a firm grip on getting viewership. Having funding and viewers is way more important to being profitable in the media business than journalistic integrity.

Your right all of the news channels are basically "entertainment" channels and what you watch and believe is based on what political party a person happens to identify with..

To be honest, most of the automakers have had some pretty shady practices at some point in their history. Doesn't make it okay by any means, but it's not like GM would fold when the others haven't.

People are so misinformed on what really is going on in the world. I work for a Japanese automotive maker and when we hit #1 is was a dam witch hunt if they made any mistake. They made the floor mat issue like it was the end of the world saying stupid stuff like Toyota's are dangerous. It got way more negative coverage then back say when Ford has the tire problem with Firestone when many people got seriously hurt or killed that was a much bigger deal. Anyone with half a brain knows mainstream media is a joke.

GM will be fine, like many here have said. Is this a "rough" patch? Yeah, it's undeniable at this point. But they'll get over it. People have fickle memories.

Sad part is that if anyone in government is unethical, there is no consequence at all (IRS/bribes/coverups), but if they get a sniff of private sector stuff it is a shark tank and that is the one thing they can agree on.

True. You could NEVER say that. Ever. You'd have to be living in Bizzaro World or something to ever even remotely think that. In fact, you could make a strong case to say that all those others are worse.

For cable news, CNN, MSNBC, and CNBC total combined viewership on any given day just MIGHT beat out FNC. Emphasis on might.

Every new corp has their own spin on how they see the news. And there's some that don't even want to see it so they don't have to report on it.

But regardless of what you think of the news content, FNC has the hottest female anchors/reporters overall. That's undisputable.
