I can't wait to see how goofy it's going to look once you pop the old wheels/tires back on it before you upgrade! lol

To this day one of the funniest vehicles I've ever seen is the monster truck Maximum Destruction getting rolled off the trailer with the tiny-ass "transporting" wheels. They were no bigger than the pumpkin on the back.

You're not kidding! This kit is BEEFY.. it weighs 250lbs and probably 20lbs was for the rear. Not to mention the cast iron diff feels twice as heavy as the aluminum one. I'm adding a lot of weight to the front end lol. Not to mention I'll be doing a vortec 350 swap soon. Ill probably max out my torsion bars just to make it level.

Plus these super lift shocks feel pretty weak, maybe they want it that way idk..

I found a guy that will make me a front bumper. He's already made one for his and made templates to make more if he wanted.. I'll get the pics from my email and post em. Tell me what you think of it

Yeah I've been lookin for some old 15" tires to come through the shop. Like 1856015 or something and mount them on the stock wheels lol should be pretty funny

I like that!

Can he include square holes in the bumper for fog lights and provisions for mounting a front winch?

I found some wheels on Craigslist listed as new takeoffs but from a late 90's camaro. He said the owner took them off his new car at 6 months and 5000 miles been in the new wheel boxes in storage ever since. They were in Tulsa 100 miles away so I took a chance and drove up there (love any excuse to take the camaro for a nice drive lol) and it was worth the trip they look BRAND new! They should work out nice offset wise for the blazer. I always liked the look of these wheels even though a lot of people probably dont. Paid 240 for them. I already have a set of almost new Michelins 265/75/16 tires that are the same diameter as 32's. I'll mount one up tomorrow at work and see what I think. Worst case if i dont like them I'm sure I could get my 240 back easy.

Idk but i was thinking the same about the winch. It might need to be narrower than his too since I don't have the huge zr2 flares. He says he'll do them cheap for me if I'll come down and help him. Plus he says he wants to build it to fit MY frame since there all off a bit from each. He lives down by Lawton about an hour away. So when I get up and running I'm going to go see him!

Check out his rear bumper

That looks pretty cool, but I don't think that rear bumper would work on my Blazer. I think they changed up the design a bit between 95 and 98.

One of my friends is good with SolidWorks so he can model pretty much anything, and he has access to a water jet machine at his work, so it's just a matter of finding someone who's good at welding/fabricating that doesn't charge an arm and a leg to put it all together and look clean.

I'll keep an eye on this thread though. I always like seeing different ways people mod their S-10's, since there isn't nearly enough aftermarket stuff out there for them.

I miss my Blazer I had a 99 and a 2000. That thing was great in the snow it went thru anything. One year I took my kids sledding we had 19 inches of snow that day and the parking lot was not plowed that Blazer drove thru it like butter. There were two other newer fancy trucks there that were there and they got stuck in the snow. I do love my Camaro more!

I agree, these things are awesome in the snow.. I have similar stories, we don't get Tons of snow but we've had some big ones and I always go play. Always did just fine when the giant 4x4s were getting stuck. Gotta love it!
