Hello

Well I just transferred from this

to this

and all I can say is WOW!!!

It's a 2011 2SS/RS/LS3 with everything except a sunroof. It had 27K and some change on it when I picked it up. I've been looking for a few weeks near my area and could not find much of anything I particularly liked. The hardest part was either finding standard color leather seats(the mixed black and red are not for me), something without a dent, something without 50K miles, or the hardest one may have been finding a manual that met the rest of the mentioned criteria. Every dealer that I found with a manual actually called me back to ensure that I knew it was a manual. I guess they are a harder sell anymore. I flew from central AR to IL to pick it up. I got a decent price, $26K, I feel and got a little bit of a road trip out of this arrangement too. Good experience with the dealer too. Quite a change for me as I've never had a car like this. Jeeps with the I6 and 4/6 cylinder cars are the biggest I've had. Man this thing will get up to speed quick! Don't have any pictures but I got the windows tinted today. I probably won't mod much except for maybe an intake and exhaust as this thing is plenty fast already for me. The stock exhaust is actually throaty coming from my past vehicles though. My favorite thing for the moment is probably the HUD.

Name is Jake by the way and I'm in central AR as I said earlier.

I'm also trying to decide if I am going to remove the front plate bracket and get some bumper fill plugs, or leave it and find a suitable plate.

I've only had the skip shift interrupt me once. Aggravating but not bad. I'm still about to look up a skip shift eliminator in a moment.

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

William,

The ride back was great. Car drives straight as can be and is just comfortable/fun to drive. Just point and go. The worst part was hitting construction in a couple of spots of my ~8 hour trip back.
