Roger. Will post pics tonight of the carbs in their dismantled state, and then I'll post pics of the rest of it when they come in.

One last CTF Camaro Road Trip.

With Mrs. Number 3 starting her new job August 17th, we are likely heading for a last minute trip to Hilton Head Island, S.C. next week for a bit of golfing and lots of R&R.

So, Fen, although I could take a Buick LaCrosse and be all Buickycomfyquiet, or a Cadillac SRX and be all sharpedgecoolandshophisticated, we're taking 296!!!!!!

So that assures 15,000 miles on Number 3 and over 10,000 on 296 before I have to give it back in September. 25,000 total Camaro miles. Swwweeeeeeeeeeeeet.

No, that's not used to prime them, bub. Good luck.
Heh, thanks Zab. Luckily they don't need a full rebuild. I've spent the last few weeks cleaning them and they're in pretty good shape still. Only stuff I have left to do is to clean out the siphon tubes, the metering jets, and rejetting (because I'll be using a K&N filter/drilled airbox and baffled drag pipes).

I'm just hoping that there's nothing else wrong with it. It has no battery in it right now, so I can't test electrical system. With any luck the engine is still sealed up tight and none of the varnish leaked past the carbs.

Have fun!

Looks like you won't be coming south through my area though. :(

So I was really bored on my day off.

I mean, really, really, really bored.

I don't know. I think it looks too much like a LaCrosse. I meant for it to be a Lucerne replacement.
