Hello from Oklahoma!

Hi folks. As I'm new to this site, I was wondering if there were any other Oklahoman's here.

I had a '79 Z/28 when I was in college. Bought it used for $3k and wished I never would have sold it.

Traded that for an '87 when I was in the Air Force. I missed the look and feel of the Z/28 but enjoyed driving my '87 up and down the mountains of upstate New York (was stationed at Plattsburgh at the time). There are some fun roads to drive up there during the summer. Had to park the car during the winter which lasted from July 5th to July 3rd.

Got married and my wife couldn't drive a standard so we sold it and bought a more family friendly car. After a 22 year absence from the Camaro family, I came back to the fold three weeks ago when I bought a 2012 LS. Been having so much fun with it that I put 1500 miles on it in two weeks.

Anyways, hello from Soonerland!

Edit - 5-4-2014 - Added a picture of my car.

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Quite a few. Being much closer to 50 than 40, I've been accused of having a mid-life crisis. I don't mind folks thinking that as long as I get to sit in my sweet ride.

Kewlness. I've been driving back and forth to Lawton every couple of weeks for a few months now. It's a nice town.

I am currently on the east coast, but did live in Lawton for around 7 months back in 1999.
