Question need ideas for a november vacation

'sup

i have a lot of vacation left this year but can't really take any days off until november. therefore i'm looking for ideas. it would probably have to be more of a "sightseeing/relaxation" trip than a party-vacation since most of my friends are broke and i'd most likely have to travel by myself. i don't mind doing so since i've done it before and it was fun, but i just can't think of anything good. i don't even care if it's via train/plane/car. i live in central new jersey.

- vegas by myself doesn't sound right.
- i was thinking about driving up to canada, spend some time in toronto and montreal and watch a hockey game (i love hockey).
- i like to watch almost every sport tho when i can see it live at the arena.
- i could visit friends in miami for a weekend or so, but since i lived down there until half a year ago, i really don't need to spend a lot of time down there.
- of the "major" cities i've seen dallas, chicago, san diego, miami, nyc, philly, denver, vegas and DC.
- i've been all over kansas, western oklahoma, western missouri, eastern colorado and northern texas
- i visited folks in germany last winter, so i also don't really wanna go there again when it's cold.
- i was thinking about going on a cruise since i've never been, but that doesn't really excite me either.
- i have never been to new england, seattle or san francisco so that might be an idea.

any ideas or suggestions are welcome

maybe i should just rent a camaro and drive down highway 101 or so

I'll be there. You just have to find someone in the industry to get you in.

This, and/or camp in the car. Even better if you had a bike and did it that way..

Take a cruise and relax. You don't have to worry about anything while you are on there. You have food all day at any time of the day. You can gamble, go sightseeing and relax. Best part about it is that you don't have to worry about driving anywhere.

Hawaii is a great relaxing vacation but spensive to stay there.

San Fran is cool also lots of tourist stuff to see and do. Great night life. Ska bands galore.

Seattle is beautiful again good night life.

I'd also consider Victoria Canada. I went there when I was in the Navy and had nearly the time of my life... Second only to...

Australia.. Either Perth or Sydney... Best people and by far the most stuff to see and do. Don't know if that's in the budget or not. But everyone should go to OZ once... I've been 4 times.

hehe, funny situation! i've been working in the cruisline-biz for 2.5 years now but i have yet to go on a cruise for some reason i just don't like the idea of "being stuck" on a boat lol

that is what i am thinking about right now. how about spending a long weekend in San Fran and then taking a plane to Honolulu for a week or so. sounds like a plan to me

OZ would be great too, but I think I need a bigger budget for that
