koch, i've gotta agree on forgoing the band on the wheels. not feeling it either. OTOH, i de-badged my entire car which is similar to yours w/black wheels and yellow calipers (CGM vs LBT) and replaced my crossed flags with black-outline ones from RPI. you might like the de-badged look. pics are here: http://www.corvette7.com/forums/showthread.php?t=355170

Another option would be to find a good pin striper and have them pin stripe the wheel.
