New from Iowa

Hey guys I just bought a 2014 Camaro 1lt with the rs package. This is my first camaro as well as first brand new car. So I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to make it survive Iowa weather as well as living on gravel. So far I love driving it and have already gotten compliments on it even though it's stock. I would like to get some rock guards and floor mats for sure. Eventually planning on exhaust and cold air intake. So if someone can point me I. The right direction on where to find that stuff that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading and I'm very excited to be apart of the forums.

I live on about a mile and a half of gravel so not terrible currently I just drive extremely slow. But I would still like to get some rock guards and some rubber floor mats just want ones that look nice.

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

I will definitely check it out. I'm from the Newton area, so about 40 minutes east of Des Moines. I actually just got my car back from the shop because it came in with some scratches and a couple paint chips in the bumper, it looks great now though. Just waiting for some warm weather to get it washed and a good coat of wax on it. Here is a picture of it, it is Ashen Gray and I couldn't be happier! I absolutely love the color and the RS package brings it all together.
