Can it work, of course. But I view it as a 'in a pinch' solution rather than something I'd recommend to do.

My opinion is it's very difficult to get it right between too grabby and too slick.

And besides, as cheap as ONR clay lube is, why not use it?

Agree with ONR being cheap, just saw Larry suggest it and thought it was easier. Didn't know it was bad to be too slick.

Nothing could be bad with a 'stache like that.

And as for the clay lube, it's only my opinion. Doesn't make it right or wrong, just my opinion.

So I trashed all the clay pieces I use right? Can't be reusing it all the time. All I have to say is wow for the cleaning power of claying. The rear bumper was stained with black little dots and rust like spots too. I had tried everything to clean that and nothing ever worked. But claying it took it all away.. Now its like new again

You should not have to trash clay after one use. When you can't fold it and get a clean surface, that's when you trash it.

Also make sure you are not using the whole piece of clay you bought. You tear chunks off of it and use those until what CD7 said happens.

Still don't need to trash them until what CD7 said. Just throw them back into the container with a spritz of detail spray and seal it up.

Alright guys. Just wanted to share this with you all. The first picture is the roof after I polished it. As you the first one is not as clear. You cant see the roof of my garage too clear. In the second one, you can see more clear.

In these next one, You can see the rear bumper by the license plate. It was really bad with black dots and rust-like color dots too. I think this all came from my exhaust mainly. I was all over the rear bumper. the first two show them if you pay close attention. The last one shows nothing. Its all gone. That was only with clyaing.
