I read on page 319 a post from someone whose order status was 1100 in December 2013 and remains at 1100.

I guess the name of the game is having an allocation in hand at the time of the order. But, it seems to me that a lot of dealers nationwide imply to the prospective buyer that they either have an allocation or are soon to have one meaning a few days, yet those allocations seem to never appear and the customer who ordered based on that "understanding" from the dealer is left in limbo for months.

At the least such behavior is a breach of trust.

Becky, if I order from your tomorrow, do you have an allocation for me?

I paid 1000 bucks a month ago to a South Florida dealer to get on the list to order. He told me it would be appx 2 months before he had an allocation. The grand is the only deposit required. Other local dealers wanted 5K at the time of ordering. 6 or 1/2 doz? I just hope I get to see the cAR AND OWN IT BEFORE September BUT REAlize it may take longer. LT1 man tranny Z51 Perf Exhaust, Crystal Red, Black Wheels. Debating the MRC but may forego it for I am looking to come closer to the 60's Stingray ambiance. My brother had a 66 427 4 Speed In the day and I loved the primitiveness of it.
