Ok got on another computer down in the Safe Harbor kids play area. I am down here with Zac since he is bouncing off the walls with boredom. I just got back from taking her to X-Ray. They think she may have phneoma or however you spell it. I sure to god hope not. She has no white blood cell count and there is no way to really bring that up her body has to. Hodgkins its self usually does not kill people, it is phneoma that they get that does.

This is so upsetting we where have a chemo over party last night when I got home with cake and ice cream but no, we have to have this.

Save that cake and ice cream. It will be even a better celebration when you get home.

Your family are in my prayers. Keep strong, and don't give up hope. I have followed this story from the time I became a new member here and I will say that her courage, her strength and her fight are amazing. I have no doubt that she will pull through and beat this all. She puts so many things into perspective. We call out of work or don't go to class because we have a head ache, yet she deals with this every day. We complain about the simplest of things, yet she deals with something this big. She is a truly special person. We look up to famous people, because they are our idols. Well, she is my hero, shes a brave lil girl. Again you will be in my prayers and if you need anything let me know..

I had pneumonia my senior year of high school. It totally put me out of commission for two whole weeks... and that was with a full immune system...

Like I said - praying for things to work out alright. Things will work out the way they're supposed to work out.

Scott - I have been up to date with your posts about Steph but never have posted on your threads. I have always sent my prayers and thoughts to you and Steph though. All I can say is hang in there bro. I know its tough, but you have to be strong for her during these times. From what I've read about Stephanie, I know she's a strong girl and will pull through this. Place everything in God's hands and he will take care of Stephanie and your family. Don't loose your faith during these hard times. My prayers are with Stephanie and your entire family. Guys, having met Stephanie, I can tell you that she is a special girl.

When Bonnie and I visited them the first time, we drove half the way back home (it's about a 4 1/2 hr trip) without so much as turning the radio on. Just thinking and talking about her. I felt so ashamed and small after meeting her considering her situation. As a few of the above posters stated, it puts things into perspective. I complain about accounts receivable, bounced checks, my kids breaking things, gas prices, slow drivers and whatever else.

I wish you could all meet her. When this is all over I hope some of you close get to meet her. You'd be amazed.

Ok. Talked to Scott. Stephie woke up around 11:00 and her fever breaks for a while and comes back. Doesn't look to be pnemonia so good news there. Scott had to get back to Eufala so he's on the road. Thier 16 yo daughter had to stay home and looks like she's not feeling well so Scott has his hands full.

They're giving Steph antibiotics for the fever due to possible infection. Her white blood cells have to be regenerated on their own. They can't just give them to her so a transfusion can only do so much. But she's awake and talking so just keep the prayers flowing and let's hope for a speedy recovery from this episode and the entire ordeal.

Thanks for the updates! Scott must just be exhausted, emotionally and physically, but for your kids, you do anything!
