The Captiva is a Vue.......front is similar but the rest is a lot different.

I think I actually like it, although probably one step too small for us...we'd more likely end up in an Equinox or similar sized SUV, as that type of SUV is what my wife drives now.

If it offers good MPG for a good price, I'd say it could be a decent seller for Chevy. I'm guessing this is basically the same as the Buick Encore right?

I like the Camaro-like rims.

I have driven the 1.4 turbo in the Sonic. It is a nice little engine and there is a company in the Northwest somewhere that has a tune for it to pop the hp up in the 180 range.

I like it. if priced right it should be a good seller. In the tiny SUV class i would choose the Jeep Renegade though, just on power-train and off-road worthiness alone, but still, should do decent.

While I do not personally see the appeal of this particular type of automotive appliance, I am really quite curious as to why GM isn't using CVT technology here.
