Thank you very much!! When it comes to a chip though I suppose I'll need paint as well. The chip on my hood is deep enough that I see white beneath it.

You can try touch up paint. Dr Colorchip is a good system. Langka is another.

So rubbing and polishing compound? Which one to use? Or both? I am finally gonna get serious about taking better car of the car. Thanks to CamaroDreams writeup. So which one to use? My car isn't too bad. Just mainly swirls. At least I think is not too bad.

Always start with the least aggressive and work your way up. Also make sure you do a test section first to see what works. Remember that polishing is removing clear coat and no sense in taking off more than you need to. Have fun!!

I got my SS a few months ago (used) and the wheels looked like shit when I got it. Looks like someone tried to paint them? Any idea if this is repairable?

Try peeling it.... they may have used dip and not paint.

I'm positive it's not plastidip. I don't want to start peeling and make it look even worse

Don't think there is an easy fix. I would try goof off or easy off oven cleaner on that one spoke, they both can dissolve paint without taking off the wheel's original clear coat. Problem is what you find underneath may be worse than what you have. Good luck.

That looks more like the clear coat is compromised to me. I have paint flaking off of two of my stock wheels. They did a shit job of painting them.

In typical Chevrolet style, they will not warranty them either.

Hey guys, I'm about to run out of my Blackfire Midnight Sun paste wax container(small one), and I'm looking to get a replacement.

I love the wax so I would be fine getting more, or trying something new. Anyone have some they are looking to sale?

I could sell you a tub of Petes 53. Essentially brand new, maybe 3 uses.
