Speeding ticket anniversary!

Yes!!! again after one year I was clocked going 86 on 65 mph posted limit.. I know it was my fault but this car is just fantastic to drive. I think I will not drive my camaro more than 75 mph for few years.

Or do the speed limit, then find a hpde or autox event to let the car rip.

no in Cali they allow 18 months from the last speeding ticket for you to be eligible to attend traffic school. When i moved to Cali year 2012 from Indiana I got 2 speeding with my Mazda with my Indiana DL in period of 2 months then I trade in my Mazda to Camaro right away trying to get rid of it since its color red but buying white Camaro doesn't help at all. LOL.. After 1 year, last year finally got my speeding award in my Camaro and today is another anniversary speeding ticket. STORY OF MY LIFE.

Looks like you need to set the speed warning.

(from the manual)
Speed Warning.
Speed Warning allows the driver to
set a speed that they do not want to
exceed. To set the Speed Warning,
press SET/CLR when Speed
Warning is displayed.

I've found that in most vehicle that I have owned prior to this one and even my truck that I own now and even my '83 Camaro, I could get away with up to 9 MPH over in front of a cop in most cases and be fine. In my Camaro, I've been 25ish over and they would just let me keep on trucking. But there are A LOT of constables in Houston that park in the shoulder on a tollroad somewhere and go to sleep. Also, had a Tahoe State trooper tag me with a laser while on I-30 doing about 110-115 and he just sat in the middle. I assume that one was because he was facing the other direction and didn't think he could catch me. Although if he would've thrown on his lights... I'm not a runner.

Keep in mind you can only take defensive driving if you are going 25 over or less. And I'm pretty sure you start crossing into whole other possible legal actions after 20 over

Just part of the cost of driving a Camaro. I try to avoid driving into swimming pools, and I never drive the wrong way on the freeway, but every now and then, if one drives a Camaro the way it's meant to be driven, one will need pay the revenuers.

I drive 880 in the bay area, and cops won't bother you at 75-78 here, because if they wait 10 more seconds they can get an 80+ SUV for double the fine. Its all about money, not about the safety.

been around 20 years for me, but that is not to say I don't got clocking at 102 in a four cylinder chevy cavalier once...LOL cop stuck his head in the drivers door to confirm that the speedometer only went to 85 had friends in the legal system back then and got off the hook! wasn't til my friend wrecked his 300zx with me in the passenger seat that I reformed my ways. only unleash the hounds when I am out away from town and it is safe to do so.

Well, to be arrested for speeding, it needs to be 25 over, which probably also has something to do with not being able to take def driving for it too. But Even when I have been pulled over doing 90 in a 60, in my truck none the less, and the cop was being a dick, he still didn't take me in.
