•Enhanced Theft-Deterrent Package
Enhanced Theft-Deterrent Package is listed as an option for the 2LT does the 1LT have an alarm or any theft - deterent equipment? This and the Color Head-Up Display are the only 2 parts of the 2LT package that appeal to me question is though is it worth 4K+ over the 1 LT?

I also like the auto-dimming mirrors, and the ventilated seats as well. The HUD is something I thought was a nice thing to have, but now I can't imagine the car without it. So it really depends on what your wallet can handle. I had the same conversation with myself about 2LT to 3LT... and decided on the 3LT.
The most dangerous thing about the 2LT is that it opens up a bunch of extra available options that might further harm your wallet Nav, CF dash, etc etc.

I went with the 2LT over the 1LT cuz of the extra options and thought it was well worth the money.
I didn't go with the 3LT cuz it only had 3 more options than the 2LT and IMO wasn't worth the extra money for faux napa leather, suede leather inserts on the seats, doors, dash, & roof.

It would be nice if Chevy made options available outside of specific packages that way one could truly build a car to their liking. HUD is a perfect example. I would like to have that but in South Florida heated seats is not really a consideration.

But the vented seats would be great in South Florida.

2LT is the sweet spot both moneywise and option wise… In terms of value… And all a carte ordering for options, is not an option for a volume car, from manufacturing standpoint, no one is doing it .....it's all packages

C7 is a volume car.
Only 14/day come off the line and it takes 3 days from start to finish to build each one according to GM.

18.5 per hour so 10 hour shift = 185 per day.
22 hours from start to roll-off, the equivalent of three eight hour shifts. Corvette Assembly is a five day eight hour day work week plant which is currently working two hours of overtime many days to meet demand. Laborsmith |

From what I've heard, the only differences that the Enhanced Theft Deterrent Package gives you is
1. Tilt Sensor - In case someone tries to tow your car 2. Interior Motion Detector - In case you leave your windows down or top off and someone tries reaching into your car

During our tour of the plant, they were completing ~150 cars a day. My vette took 1 and a half days to build (make it though the line), Dec 3-4.

I am thinking 150 would be production for an eight hour day.
