I'm asking just because I'm starting to look into both. I have a ps3 but I do really like forza a lot. That alone might be the reason I get an xbox one

Do you guys think the storage on an xbox one could be a problem in the future?

Assuming Microsoft keeps to their word (In the long run they usually do) then no. Microsoft has already said they will support external storage but to give them some time.

And anyone who tries to argue that the external storage will be slower is incorrect. The limiting factor for the access time of the data is not the bus they are traveling through but the drive in which they are stored. So theoretically speaking a solid state drive on a USB 3 should be faster then the internal mechanical drive.

Oh and just to answer your question I choose my one because of Forza and Titanfall. Regardless of some issues I have had if I gone with the PS4 all I would have is a paper weight. I always say choose where the games you like are and not the one that performs better because a game console is nothing if you don't have games.

Yea storage shouldnt ever be a problem with either system b.c they both support some type of upgrade. PS4 requires you to change the internal hard drive but does not support External for games. X1 wont allow you to change internal but will allow for external.

Honestly no, people just need to learn to delete stuff when they're done with it. As for x1 and forza, im in the same boat. I really want forza but paying $500 to get it is silly. In a few months hopefully there will be more to bring me to spend that $500. Until then, ill just play it on my friend's x1.

I think the biggest factor for me, is that I know more people with the x1. Now that I've had it for a month or so, I'm a little disappointed. Mainly because it's not as seamless as they made it out to be. I have to yell at it to turn on, is the biggest issue. Sometimes when I'm watching a movie and say "xbox pause", it closes and goes home. Little things like that.

That's what I've been hearing from a few people that have it. I will say that I'll probably be using mostly for playing games. But watching my cousin on his ps4, his doesn't seem to be glitchy or anything like that at all. I have the advantage that all my friends have yet to buy either one so we are all going to be buying the one most of us get.

I have a PS3 also and went for the xbox one. Forza and Titanfall are well worth it. I am also excited for the new halo and divergent.

I only have my PS3 now for GTAV and the new mx vs atv

The Xbox voice commands work about 95% of the time for me. If it isn't working for you guys try recalibrating the Kinect.

I will also say that Infamous is well worth the PS4 purchase.

I purchased a loaded Alienware slim desktop includes hdmi and wireless with 1TB drive on Black Friday for under $700 and it rocks. Before that I had an xbox 360.

For those of you that are having problems with the voice commands. Re-calibrate your Kinect. I guarantee you set it up wrong. The instructions it gives you are VERY misleading. When it tells you to be quiet during the test make sure all noises that are usually going on in your household are happening. For example your washer and dryer constantly being used. Dishwasher in the kitchen. Make sure noises like that are on.

I currently have 2 TVs right next to each other because my wife likes to watch netflix or the news while I play. During the test I had her TV on throughout the entire thing. Now I have practically no problems even WITH her TV on right next to mine (within 3 feet of each other)

Here are some videos to show how well a properly calibrated Kinect works and how to calibrate it. Hope this helps!

I still haven't set up Kinect. I just don't see a point to it. Controller works just as well.

wow, thanks for the vids! I'll have to try to recalibrate mine, with all my stuff on. I have to admit, I set mine up in the middle of the night, while my other half was sleeping. lol So I didn't have the volume up very much. I think this will help a ton!

And with Kinect sports rival coming out april 8, hopefully this works just in time!
