It's the progression of moving the car for world wide sales. As it goes global it becomes a design of compromises and that's what so many cars all start looking similar.

These cars similar? I don't see it. BTW, I'm equally puzzled as to why you would post this thread in the General 5th gen Camaro forum?

Agreed - too many windows open at once... lost track of location.

My mistake

Well they are both coupes with wheels and see through window glass, but other than that, I am struggling to see the similarity.

Good observation. They both have black tires, 4 wheels, and 2 doors.

And they're both cars. Don't forget that one.

Finally saw it last night... the "Guard" is at the Ft. Lauderdale Int'l Auto Show which shows thru Sunday. The interior is very nice. Looks high quality. The exterior is obviously the most subjective... I like the silhouette and the fastback rear, while the front is just so-so. Guard is a subdued but cool color though and basically overall it looks better in person than in photos. This looks like a base premium model, probably a V6. It's a prototype so it stays locked... can't sit inside.

Okay... they both have round headlights... both have the "hook" trim on the side... both have two side glasses... both have chrome bumpers... both are Swedish... both have inline- 12s... both have staggered 20"s/ 19"s on five- spoke alloys... both run on diesel... both--- wait, what?

Okay, just joshing... the OP has already confessed to a brief moment of delirium, perhaps after a mild head injury or chemical ingestion, so I can't be too harsh here. Hey, happens to the best of us. Heck, I accidentally waved at a new Mustang the other day, thinking it was a Chevy.
