I was having this same debate with someone a few weeks ago and I found the same numbers on the Manufactures Championships. I was trying to find which manufacture has won the most Nascar races, but could not find it. I would guess that Chevy has won the most. Does anyone have the numbers on this?

As of last year sometime I found one that said
Chevrolet 718
Ford 618
Or gm( Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac) 1,051
