Commits weekly crime

Yea but Luck coming out in the draft is a rare thing. Time will only tell though, and you'd still need Brady to not play to get the first pick in the draft haha. Or it'll take you an extra year; I expect Bill & Brady to leave at the same time.
Sproles for a 5th rounder is a steal for us, considering it was the Pats pick anyway. |

Yea it'll be interesting to see how much they value Ryan. I see Vince Wolfork is requesting his release, that's not good. But you brought in Browner / Revis so your secondary got solid over night.

I like this, I don't expect the same production catching the ball, but he is clutch and IMO better than Welker, what is really nice, his return game is big.

There's been talk of a trade to the Texans for their 2nd pick, which is the 1st pick in the 2nd round, it's a nice pick....but that leaves the Pats needing a back up QB. I'd rather they keep him.

We won't trade our 2nd round pick (which is essentially a 1st round pick) for Mallet. I think we were thinking more of 4th or 5th and you guys are over valuing him. He will likely just walk after this season anyways. Why would he come back and continue waiting for Brady to retire which will probably be another 2-3 years? It sounds like Belichick is trying to outsmart everyone again.

Mallet isn't worth a 2nd, but is worth more than a 5th. i can see a 3 or maybe two 4's getting it done. The fact that he probably won't see the field for you this season and then leave without any compensation decreases his value.
As for Amaro, you should have no problem getting him. He could possibly be the third TE off the board, so it is not unfathomable that he lasts until your second pick. |
