Long Time Camaro Owner gets 1st 5th Gen

Hi all. I have been a Camaro owner/enthusist for over 30 years. I currently have a 1969 RS-Z/28 and a 2002 LE 35th SS Coupe. I have to admit I wasn't a big fan when 5th Gens were released but they have grown on me. Here is my new addition:

2012 45th Anniversary SS Coupe, M6, loaded. SLP650 package (Supercharger, headers, cats, LMII exhaust, injectors, etc), Comp cam, Hurst shifter, line lock and wheels. SLP springs, frame connectors. Plus some more goodies. Dyno'd at 575 to rear wheels on a Mustang dyno.

Congrats and you'll love the everyday functionality of the fifth gen. I also have a 1st gen and have owned a bunch of different years but be careful if you start modding the new addition as they tend to get all consuming . I know as I've ordered a bunch of stuff for mine so let the modding begin.

Did you change the wheels yourself? Did you buy it with those mods? Are those wheels replica hot wheels edition? Very nice car, good taste too haha

Wheels are Hurst Stunners. 20X9 & 20X11 I think they are the same wheels as the Hot Wheels and SLP wheels though. 90% of the mods were done at SLP in NJ by the original owner.

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Well because the car has DR's on it and the weather has been bad I haven't put very many miles on it but so far I am very impressed with the quality of the fit and finish and how quiet and smooth the car drives. I love my '02 but this is much more comfortable and enjoyable to drive. If I will miss one thing about summer drives in my 4th Gen it will be the T-Tops!
