Corvette C7 mid-year price increase announced
It was bound to happen... although unexpectedly so soon. Inflation or price hikes stink but this is still a great car though!
The new starting MSRP including DFC ($995) for these models are now:The base price went up by $2000 (from 51K to 53K) and the Z51 Pkg went up by $1200 (from 2800 to 4000). Dest fee is still $995. Dealers are stating the price increase is in effect for new orders as of 3/3/14. In-stock units and presold orders are not affected. |

That's so they can afford the cash back on the ZL1 and the trucks.

It's still a heck of a bargain for what your are getting. If I were in the market for a new Corvette this little increase wouldn't scare me off.

![]() Now only if others can truly appreciate this... and if one has relatively expendable income or can comfortably afford spending 51K on a new base C7, then the new 53K pricepoint shouldn't be way out of reach. It stinks the cost went up but it is what it is... car prices rises all the time, mid-year or annually. The C7 is still a big bang for the buck! And then add the basement price of (previously) $2800 for the Z51 Performance Pkg then IMO it was a no-brainer to begin with. Now that the Z51 pkg is priced at 4K, it's still a bargain. Heck a set of Z51 forged wheels alone cost 2K off the parts counter and that's if it's discounted. Breaking it down... whether you use it to its full capacity or not, you get a boat load of performance-based goodies on a Z51. The Z51 Performance Package, elevates Corvette Stingray to its top performance level. This package includes:
