Trunk liner
Does anyone know of a rubber type trunk liner for the C7. My briefcase slides around like crazy in the back. I can't imagine that I am the only one with this problem.
Something like a Husky or WeatherTech would be perfect because they go up the sides a couple of inches as well. I called both of them and neither have one yet. |

Does the netting in the rear not work for your briefcase, or is the case too large?

I haven't tried. I just think it would be easier to have a non-slippery surface and not have to worry about nets and other hold-down restraining devices.

Lloyd's has a rubber cargo liner available in 3 colors for the Stingray, kind of a dimpled texture. It doesn't look to wrap up the sides much, but should at least keep stuff from sliding around much.
As for the net, it's not very deep and doesn't stretch very wide open, so I doubt it will do much for your briefcase. I know my laptop doesn't fit in it.

What is the net intended for, I'm assuming groceries wouldn't fit than. My car has been waiting for good weather, not much practical experience with it and cargo

I would prefer a cargo net that covered the entire cargo area. Does anyone know of a vendor that sells a net this size that uses the existing anchor points?

The factory net seems primarily to be for small stuff. I use it to hold my Galaxy tablet when I take it with me, and put small purchases in it for the trip home from the store. It's too small for more than a couple of grocery bags, but works okay for that much. Its the larger, boxier items that don't fit into the net.
I've been looking for a larger net, but so far, have come up with nothing that's an improvement. As for one that covers the entire cargo area, a problem that comes up is that there are only 2 floor-mounted loops. It would really need 4 to work right. To hook a net on the 2 factory floor loops and the 2 net hooks on the rear panel is no improvement over the factory cargo shade. I need some decent weather so I can remove the entire cargo area carpet and rear panel trim to see what possibilities there may be for installing 2 more floor loops. Sadly, that appears to be a while off yet here in St. Louis. We have another major snow storm on the way tonight, and my garage isn't big enough for that kind of work.
