Quiet in here this week. Ol' farts must be busy. My day was average. Possibly a little bit of snow here tonight but more significantly back into cold temps. Yuck. But I should not complain. I know some of you have it way more rough. Hang in there guys & gals. Spring will arrive sooner or later.

Busy day at work today! After yesterday's smack down, I was back at it like nothing ever happened.

Had to leave 1/2 hour early today so we could go get our tax return. At least we are getting a little refund. Something is better than nothing. When we returned home, I put in 1.5 hours of OT to make up for leaving 1/2 hour early. That's the kind of guy I am.

I am having to hustle to try to get Pedder's front sway bars before they are all gone. I can't believe Pfadt & Pedder's both went out of business! Crap! I knew I should have tried to figure out a way to get everything I wanted at once.

So Pfadt is out, too? I'd only read one thread indicating any difficulty in getting their parts.

JusticePete has been back on the forum occasionally, though I haven't seen any mention of any progress or resolution of that situation.

If it helps any, at least BMR is still in business, and they offer a selection of adjustable sta-bars for the Camaro - along with a somewhat uncommon (to date) amount of information regarding the stiffness of each adjustment position relative to GM's OE bar stiffnesses. Whiteline is still offering various Camaro bushings on their site, if those are in your car's future.

Thanks. I already have all the bushings & rear sway bar from Pedder's installed at the Fest last year. That is why I was hoping to get the front sway bar from Pedder's too so it is a matched set so to speak.

Here is the link to the thread about Pfadt:

I got my strut cap covers delivered today. But temps are in the single digits so it's way too cold for me to want to work on the car. I will install them when it gets warmer outside.

Where does one find said information about the adjustment positions?

There's a little more to it than that, but it's what they have.
Also read Pete's comments on his sway bars, I don't know how the BMR bar compares to Pedders, other than BMR is 29mm hollow, Pedders is 27mm solid, and fulcrum length makes a difference as well.

Okay, but in reality in a V6 am I ever going to feel a difference??????????

I wonder what difference there is in weight of the BMR versus Pedder's??? For me I'm not sure there is a couple hundred $ worth of difference? I can still get some Pedder's but not sure for how long. I was also heard that Pedder is not a manufacturer. They private label their parts from other manufacturers and then put their logo on it. Pedder sway bars are over priced Whiteline sway bars. BMR actually makes their products.

I am asking guys. Educate me. (My other thread got moved by moderators & taken over by V8 guys)
