Well, we got the car on a lift and didn't hear anything out of the ordinary or see any soot over or under; everything was nice and tight. My guy said it may just be the ecm trying to overcome the increased flow of air and not doing a good job at it, in which case I really need a new tune than. Interestingly I opened up my hood just now and heard a slight hiss? I can't verify it wasn't there before, I may just be paranoid now. Can a leak come and go?

Why would a leak exist at low revs and idle but not mid and high revs?

Also would that throw an additional code? All I get is the O2 codes that come with the headers, but I'll check again.

UPDATE: The hissing sound was coming from the set of hoses connecting the catch can. So now I am 99.9% confident there is no leak. Let's see what trifecta has to say.
The leak would still exist at higher RPMs, but it would have less of an effect due to the fact that the total flow through the system is much higher. At lower RPMs the flow through the leak would represent a higher percentage of the overall flow.

The only reason to buy a V6 Camaro is how it looks, so yeah, to have it swirled up is kind of defeating the purpose.

Then why did you bother wasting money on performance mods if you have your v6 for only looks......

Took me a couple thousand dollars to realize it would only ever be slightly less slow without dropping SS money.

Drank the Koolaid on here for too long before I woke up.

I got to faster than a bolt on ss with a 23k LS and 5k in mods

But I agree, you want fast, get the SS or a much lighter car with cheaper to mod. Although, there is a place for racing v6's. It's people's own money, it's priceless to see a v6 beat a v8.

You couldn't say nice car or anything?
Thats kind of messed up. Swirls come and go, but a Camaro loving friendship lasts forever.

All depends on how deep your pockets are and what look you're going for. Both headlight options work just fine.

Wow, nice! That corsa catback sure is pricey. If I had to do it all over again, id probably just spend the money at the beginning for a nitrous kit and tires and be done with it. I think a nitrous kit alone with good tires is enough to take down v8s
