Been looking and can't find an answer, the new gold elite wireless headset, I can chat with that right?

Only ask cause I don't see a traditional mic and can't find anything that says voice chat when I was reading about it

the mic is hidden. I'm holding off on getting that headset because I'm pretty sure they'll release an elite version probably next year. Just like they did with the Pulse & Pulse Elite headset.

this is true. alot of people believe even with some of the problems the oled is the better looking of the two

Thank you for the info, yea I'm sure they will but they will probably make another a year after that so I might get this one cause it's got enough for me

I've had my Vita since a launch and I haven't had any screen problems *knocks on wood*. Frankly I think it's one of its best features. The screen just absolutely gorgeous.

I pre-ordered the PS4 because of the way microsoft handled re-selling of games, sharing games with friends, and their comment about not being able to play if you have an internet connection "we have a console for that, its called the 360". Online: XB Live knows what they are doing and they are excel in the social media aspect of these consoles. At the moment, they offer more applications by far. I am still a bit miffed I didn't get my "watch ESPN" App on PS4. This is where it becomes a console of what you plan to do and what you want out of it. XB focused on a broad group of casual gamers in my opinion. That is why there are so many integrated features with TV and social media. If you actually want to game and that is your only focus then I side with the PS4, but if you want the broad landscape XB offers.. its there. I traditionally just want to game both single and multiplayer and rarely have a concern for facebook or skype. I can do that on my smart TV or computer.

Controllers: Xb1 again does an excellent job; PS4 finally stepped up and produced a much better controller. Better grip, better control. I still give a slight nod to Xb1 though.

Games: I believe in the first 6 months, Xb1 will produce more exclusives, but it seems PS4 will have a substantial amount closer to holiday season. I was disappointed many of the big titles were delayed and I feel like there isn't much out to play right now and find myself going back to my 360 to play GTA.
Xbox has some incredible exclusives, but what naughty dog has done with PS titles has me hooked... and I needed my MLB The Show. I love baseball and that game is on another level. (Xb1 will not have a baseball title I Believe because 2k bailed out after being pummeled by The show).

Both are incredible, but a lot of it goes back to the online features and if they apply to you. If they do, get that system which betters suits your style. I do believe the PS4s capability under the hood will be favorable for many, but I am sure Xbox will not be far behind very long. Their comments about the consumer and 100+ price tag just to have a camera pushed me to pre-order the other. I am a bit disappointed I was pretty much limited to FP shooters, racing, and basketball though. Watch dogs being available at launch was my expectation, goon shat the bed on that one.

I read a lot of gaming news and listen to a lot of gaming podcasts and I've never heard of an issue with the AMOLED. I'm not doubting there were some (has anyone ever gotten an LCD without a single dead pixel), but it's not something that I think was affecting a percentage of consumers that was worth noting.

Also worth noting, and I'll say it twice: The Kinect is garbage and hogs XBone's already inferior resources. It's a camera that only does voice commands well...A Camera (visual), that only does voice (audio) commands well...I won't say it a third time, but come on...That's STUPID. The Kinect only games have have released as exclusive Kinect titles haven't worked. That's all you really need to know about that.

I am not disagreeing.. I have been far more happy with my PS3 than I was with the 360 (had the rings 3 times). I am very happy with the PS4, just wish there was more to play besides the rinse and wash COD games right now. I pre-ordered with the hope of Watch dogs being out at launch.. but regardless, 4/1 I get my MLB. I do have many buddies who play on X1 so there is a bit motivation there to get the second console, but the PS4 will remain the primary when it comes to multi-platforms.

It sounds like Sony believes they will get titanfall over to PS4 in the next 12-14 months by the way.

On another note, I got the Gold PS4 headset today.. they are fantastic at that price point. Sound quality of a 150+ set, easy setup with a USB versus the A/V in back and the most comfortable set Ive owned.

After the last update the kinect no longer hogs resources when the games aren't using them.

EA made an exclusive deal with Microsoft for the first Titanfall. Sony may get a sequel, but they will not get a version of the game that is coming up next month. I don't believe Respawn was happy about this deal BTW...

I thought about getting a pair of the golds...The thing is I can get all of the game audio I want through the controllers headphones input, and I have nice headphones. On my PS3 I have a nice set of wireless Turtle Beach 7.1s I use (and love).

PS4 Final Fantasy XIV Open Beta this weekend. It plays great on Vita...Though the text can be difficult to read.
