Ouch isn't quite the exact word I used as I remember. Didn't follow thru on lift & release at the same time.

After 3 hours of sleep night before I was expecting to not bowl very well...but ended up throwing it alright.

Sitting at a 222 avg overall got a 2 point lead for high avg..that's the only singles league award I want haha

Went 4 a little 3 game practice. 223-180-197=600/200 average. Alleys were heavy oil on back end. had 2 really adjust for hook.

Same problem I had in practice today. See if they put the house pattern down tomorrow night.

Shot 667 again. (257,235,180) Had bi-polar lanes. The right lane hooked like normal, and the left lane was 6 boards to the right difference. Luckily I kinda had control of it better than the other team. Took 5 of 7. Last game couldnt carry crap. The first 7 frames were 9s all the way across. Switched balls and doubled in the 8th and 9th, then left a 4-10 split in the tenth. Oh well, maybe next week.

See if you can answer this one. The team we bowled last night is in first place. Stupid a$$ rules they had 2 bowlers last night to start with one of them was a sub with book average of 211. So you can't bowl or start unless you have 3 to start with. And the 3 they were short have till the 5th frame to show up. They showed up by the 3rd frame. On top of all this crap all of them have a handicap of between 60 & 70 pins. It just seems every time we bowl a team like this they bowl out of there friggiinn mind & we wind up bowling like crap. Lost the first 2 games took last game plus total. Shot 198-166-190 = 554. Go figure ended up with a dam HEADACHE.

I feel ya'. All the late arrivals crap can be really distracting. The having to wait while names are entered and people are catching-up, etc. Annoying. I've sometimes found myself tensing up, or rushing - generally messing with my mechanics. I try not to let it bug me, but if I feel like they don't give a crap that they've caused a disruption, then I get a bit irked. Our league gives tardy players until the anchorman of the opposing team completes the third frame. Anyone arriving after that has to sit it out...

The league I bowled on last year once we started bowling. If you weren't there & ready to bowl in 15 min. you had to sit out that game. They take their average minus so many points.

Both leagues I bowl on are 5 frame as well . A legal line up is 2 !! But I feel your pain on spotting the other team so many pins and then they all bowl 200's ! lol But that is what makes it a Handicap league . Plus We as 200's plus bowlers shouldn't have to worry about it IF we shoot our scores . We get Blasted ALL the time .
