Just as a side note, even though MS COULD buy up the Titanfall IP I don't think they will, and hope they won't. Everyone deserves to play it. Them purchasing the first one was meant as a way to be a system seller. Smart move to be honest

lol. I hope MS doesnt buy it. But to say they couldn't is ridiculous. Right now Respawn owns the IP but EA owns the Publishing Rights for the game. So until Respawn gets out of that deal with EA, MS just needs to score a deal with EA. Not Respawn. Now keep in mind it's the publishing rights for the FIRST Titanfall. Pretty much EA gave the funds to Respawn to make the game. If Respawn is able to change up part of the contract for the next installment they will have the say so of what system to create for. It kind of works similar to Activision and Call of Duty

Again, Respawn was not too happy about the exclusivity, so I can't see then selling it. EA doesn't have a say in it whatsoever.

IMHO im not seeing why Titanfall is so Hype up, the game is literaly Call of Duty with Mechs and jet packs. What am I missing here? People talk about it like some sort of killer app, But with no single player campaign, No local split screen (for a multiplayer game), Heck I don't think it has bots for those who dont connect online. It looks more like a big DLC content for $30 than a full game.

Wow I had no idea about the no campaign thing till now. That really sucks as I for actually do like paying through campaigns but if they make their multiplayer better than standard COD I will be fine with that.

It pretty much sums up most reviews I have read. This game is going to have a huge following but just like anything....it's not for everyone.

I have always liked Mech games and I like FPS games so this is a great mash up for me.

One of my favorite games was all about Mech warfare... Chromehounds!!!

Thats the thing...the multiplayer is the campaign. The bots in the game don't act like AI in a multiplayer match. They act like a single player campaign. So when playing in a match its cool going around seeing all the many interactions and conversations that are going on among the AI. Your correct though there is no single player campaign in the traditional sense that we know of. When the game was first announced there was talk of a multiplayer campaign specific gametype. Dont know if that will make it into the final game though

You could call Halo just CoD with shields, or Battlefield just CoD with vehicles. Just because you can make the comparison doesn't mean they're similar at all.

Titanfall beta is now open to everyone, go play it and see what it's about. It's nothing like CoD.

That being said, doesn't mean I'm completely won over with the game. It's a fun game, however I don't feel the same competitive atmosphere I get with Halo or BF. I think I need to play it some more.
