With everyone looking for 391 gear sets, and the fact that they are on back order. I was lucky enough to find a 1le diff with axles from another forum member. He ships the parts, and after a couple days the axles show up, but no diff. It turns out that UPS has lost the diff. They started an investigation to find it. Has anyone else had something lost by UPS? What might I expect? What are the chances they will find it? Thanks for any info.

I just had a friend go through something similar, but with a TV. The "investigation" can take a looooong time, at least it did for the TV. The key is to keep the pressure on.

Oh, and no, they never found out what happened, they (not sure if it was the store he got the tv from, or UPS themselves) paid for a new one.
