Cash for Clunkers program already out of money?

Just read that the CARS program is already being suspended because they fear it's already run out of money.

That is crap! In the paper today,one dealership has an add stating $4500 off MSRP on Camaros with qualifying trade in...

I was going to use this when mine arrives next month. BMW 740i with a combined 14 mpg and no a/c doesn't sell too well here in Phoenix this time of year. Advertised it earlier this year for $3K and got no bites, just someone who wanted to trade for a laptop..."FAIL."

Yep.. Great program for 4 days... It would have worked better as a tax write-off..
