This is a great write up and the results look great!

I did mine a bit different. I removed the caliper and the disk mostly because the disc was rusted and looked terrible. I still used the Duplicolor paint but used the spray paint. Additionally, I used 'Chevy Orange' and then applied a Brembo hi temp decal and then used hi temp 'Duplicolor Clear' paint with several coats. You can used the engine enamel ($6) or the caliper paint as they are both rated to 500*. The engine enamel has a larger variety of colors. This paint dries really fast which to me was a huge plus! I bought a one man bleeder kit ($13) so I could bleed the breaks myself without getting and break fluid on my fresh paint.

**NOTE: For those of you that don't know, break fluid will quickly destroy the paint you just applied so if you remove the calipers, use a bleeder kit or at least a piece of tubing to guide the fluid into a container to collect the brake fluid when bleeding. I recommend you buy the clear tubing from a pet shop used for fish tanks. It's the perfect size and you can see if there is air still coming out.**

Any pics of the paints you used? Where did you pick them up from?

Look at the sellers store

Chevrolet is 4"

If you go for the brembo only it is 3.75"

I have the Chevrolet/Brembo combination to look like stock. And they look perfect. The Brembo only (3.75") will be perfect too.

There is nooo way I have the balls to do this myself and I don't really have a handyman that can help, how much do you think I would be charged by a shop to get my calipers painted? I really love the way it looks when they are painted red. Thank you in advance

I asked a friend who does this at his shop and he told me about $100 per axle. It involves taking off the calipers and then bleeding the brakes after they finish. $125 if you go powder coat. So, $400-$500 basically.

However, if you are comfortable removing the wheels from your Camaro then you can do this. Even if you only do one wheel at a time. The trick is to be patient, take your time. Make an afternoon out of it.

Took me about two days (2 calipers per day), to finish my calipers. But they turned out amazing! Thanks Snoopy
