After 2 weeks of 1 sets (since it has been a number of years since I worked out), I stepped it up to 2 sets for the first time. feels GREAT to be back into it.

I dug up some of my photos from 20 years ago. Going to scan those soon, and will post long ago, along with a few months ago, no new ones for some time yet. But I can tell you I am down 55 lbs, and finally out of the 300+ club forever.

Following along to help with ideas, keep them coming folks.

Thank - you

Awesome results Mike keep it up! Just got done with my workout for today. I refuse to step on a scale until this coming Monday when I have another fit test. I have come to find out that with Insanity in the first month you will notice a slight difference but in month 2 that is when the real drastic change happens and you really benefit from the program.

Nice! I've noticed a change in my quads from Insanity. They have gotten smaller, went to put on a pair of boxers today that normally cut into my quads when I sit down but not anymore!

As long you follow Insanity exactly how they said you're going to see the changes fast...

My God! You are a true inspiration! May I ask your age and what happen? My mom is paraplegic waist down from birth... Doctors said she was not going to walk and she did, doctors said she can't take care of herself and she raise me & my brother by herself! Nothing is impossible if you want it! Will Power is the key! Thank You very much for sharing! God bless you!

I was 46 then, will be 48 this year. Not sure what you meant by "what happened"? This was a strongman contest I was in with some friends, having a little fun in the "masters class" (old people). I prefer powerlifting to strongman, but I venture out with some of the guys and have fun with them.

Thanks for the compliments. It's all there if you want it, as you control everything it takes to achieve that. I think you are doing very well too. It takes dedication, time and patience.

Forget the "what happen" part... silly me... again Thanks for sharing! Sometimes I think I'm late to get in shape because I'm 42, you just prove me wrong!

I was my biggest and strongest when I was 42-45 years old, and I did not start working out till I was almost 30. Never to late to work for what you want. Nothing comes easy. As you have seen, a lot of great training/lifting/dieting knowledge on this board. The hardest part is finding what works and doesn't work for YOUR body.

"DIETING" Here's the key from looking good to look awesome! Can you give me an idea of how's your eating habits? Some people eat small portions every 2 hours, others go from heavy breakfast to a light salad in the afternoon...
