Curb weight 3975... Sounds like they kept the weight down pretty well for a sedan on the Zeta II

What does the Camaro SS auto weigh?

Prolly v6's. Not RT's or SRT8's.

What did your SS put down stock ... Most all L99's put down in the area of 325rwhp, with only 15 more bhp this puts down 360rwhp. I think that's pretty damn impressive ...

2013 Dodge Charger
470 hp... 4370 lb

SS looks pretty good on a paper comparison v Charger SRT8. The SS is pretty long legged with 3.2 diff gears, no info on SRT8 rear gear ratio.

SRT puts down a faster 60! And who cares if it's one on every corner that means the looks are sweet! I would still have a camaro if the whole world had one. I'm not boutta buy something just because others don't have it because I can careless what others have.

It was funny reading that, then reading your sig

I haven't seen any drag strip times for the SS, probably won't till spring unless it warms up down south. Since the SS has similar weight and same motor as the Camaro, I would expect to see similar times.

A lot of the Dodges I see are fleet cars. I didn't want to just come out and say it, but the Dodge is just butt-ugly... I see it the same way a lot of folks in this thread see the SS apparently.

I like the Taurus SHO, even though Ford is making all their front ends look the same. But I saw the spec's on it, optioned out it's priced with the SS and like the Dodge, it's a FAT ol' hog!

Most of the reviews so far have been in favor of the SS versus any of the Chrysler twins especially the Charger.

http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...e-specs-page-4

Thus equipped, the Dodge is up 55 horses, 55 pound-feet, and about 10 grand versus the Chevy. But it’s the SS that feels $10,000 dearer.

Despite the intuitive touch screen, heated-and-cooled cup holders, and adaptive cruise control, the Dodge’s inferiority creeps into its cabin like a haze of burnt rubber. Some of us preferred a few of the interi*or-trim finishes and liked the comfort and support of the thickly bolstered SRT seats, but overall material quality and refinement fall short of the overachieving Chevy’s.

The Chevy’s interior is commensurate with its greater chassis and engine refinement. It looks the business, because it is the business.

I wanted an ss exterior was too plain. I was at the dealer they had a black ss next to black Malibu. it was hard to tell difference, of course I knew the difference. the ss needs a little external pizzazz. I'm not giving up, maybe gen two. the impala reminds too much of the Buick lacrosse, so if im going old man then ss it is..

As with most offerings, the brazen early-adopters will pay an inordinate amount of $$ for this overpriced car. It's a tiny niche market that few will give a crap about. Nobody buys sleeper cars anymore. I just can't see anyone in their right mind rolling up next to this car at a light, seeing an old person in it, and start rolling down windows, let alone blipping the throttle... Spending upwards of $50k to impress the half-dozen or so people in the world that actually love this car...that would be nearly $50k I'd plunk down on another Camaro. But that's just me. I hope people do buy it to prove me wrong, as there's a lot of what I consider retards out there buying Chargers thinking they're cool when they're not, but time will tell.

In the end, I believe it is NOT going to sell as well as many have hoped. This is where the incentives to move the car off the lots will kick in. People who buy early are going to miss out on the potential 38K out the door prices or even better within a year.
