I like the idea of it, but IMO the styling is extremely boring.

I want my performance car to look like a performance car.

I guess I'm the only one who feels this way, so go ahead and shame me, but Dodge Charger SRT8> Chevy SS in looks. The SS looks too bland imo, but has huge potential in power though. I read somewhere Camaro aftermarket stuff can be thrown on the SS.

Not really feeling it. Maybe it's the camera angle?
The front and rear wheel gap is HUGE.

Im a little late to the party here but many of the comments are ridiculous. Some may think its bland which is fine but to say its overpriced is just an uneducated comment. The GXP a few years ago wasn't much cheaper and the differences are substantial. Really take a look at what you're getting and the price makes sense.

It's a G8 rebadged, and ho hum, it's not going to sell. Family's will buy Impala's, before this . It will be a niched market, and that's not good when your selling 4 doors.

I have to admit I thought it was bland looking when it first came out; but I changed my mind when I saw it at the Detroit Auto Show and had a chance to sit in it. Very nice interior (much nicer than the GTO or G8) and seats. Took a couple of pics.

You mean a rebadged Holden? Yes, that's exactly what it is. Of course it's a niche market. Was never meant to be mass produced. They are bringing it over to us because they can and those that want a performance oriented 4 door car will be happy they did.

Those views do make the car look a lot better.

Wow how many of these comments are repeats from the SS thread a few more threads down from this one. I think a lot of the people here are just unaware that the car is fully loaded only option is a sunroof I think. Yes it doesn't have that aggressiveness of a SRT8 Charger cause its not competing with it In my eyes cause its a different person who is going to buy the SS than the SRT8 charger. Also ive seen some prices of SRT8 chargers that are in the 50 to 55k price range. And yet no one seems to complain about that pricing or the fact that it is auto only as well. And how many of yall have seen it in person and actually sat inside. Also there are quite a few SS badged cars who were 4 doors Impalas Cobalts and what not.

LOl... It's because the charger is basically a 4 door Challenger as in engine and stuff. Who would wine about a 392 Charger? ?? I seen them beat challengers with the same engine. But really the driver ! And the 392 is a beast! Some dealers are selling the Chevy SS for 60,000. You said 50 and 55 compared to 45 for your plain Jane SS. So only 5,000 more for Charger SRT. If we're going by. what you're saying.

Top dog SRT vs. a limited SS? ??

As you can tell these are only of the nice front! lmao... Show the sides and back! Don't hide that bland side or back!
