I forgot to mention no Brembo calipers in the back and that looks tacky to me. I never liked it on the Mustang, either.

I totally realize that which, to me, is the problem. Pick one or the other and make them both less expensive.

The idea that you have to be able to win a street drag with groceries in the trunk and the kids and dog in the back seat is asinine.

To you. There's a lot of folks out there who don't want to sacrifice performance to have a useable back seat and trunk.

Totally disagree...im not gonna be driving the same when im alone in my car....best of both worlds imo. While I agree the exterior is bland...and chevy missed the mark....the interior is top notch and gorgeous. Maybe they will get the exterior right next time.

Taurus, fushion, Ss, does it matter?, there all sedans and not much style. I would think used german for 45k+ before this, it would be night and day.

Why is it asinine to want a vehicle that can do it all??

I think its a bit crazy, that you actually think cars should either be 2 door sports cars, or 4 door A to B (boring) cars. If you feel that way about a sports sedan, I'd hate to think about what you thought of the sports trucks like the Lightning. lol.

I understand what the SS is, and why it costs what it does. My problem with it is that styling wise it is just a bit too bland to me, but I really appreciate the car for its performance and especially its fantastic interior.

Now if the car just looked as awesome as I wish it had, that would be sweet!

They should have made the exterior resemble the 2014 impala.

I couldn't part with $45k+ for that. It might have the motor but it seems otherwise uninspiring. If I was in the market for a 4 door sedan, I'd rather have a less powerful (~300hp) Audi A or S4, Mercedes C-class, Volkswagen CC or something along those lines.

This car isn't marketed as a kid hauler and grocery getter ... The age market is much higher, everyone I know that is getting them is 55+ and is being used as a daily driver and for traveling.

You seem to be offended that most don't care about the car. Well, you did ask our opinion right? Just accept that not everyone is working at a dealership and pushing ugly cars.

I'm with this, for 45k you can get a C350 sport, a BMW 3 series sedan, a CTS etc. Hell a charger is way more stylish. If all you're buying it for is the V8 again there's better options. It's the same argument for getting a Camaro over a mustang, cars with style pull sales. Now I see the practicality in having a 4 seater that can become a weekend toy, but I don't see this being a dream car based on it's bland looks and with the SS/ZL1/C7 being around, I don't see a family purchasing one of these over a Malibu or a Impala due to the price, and I can't see someone purchasing this over another sedan despite the V8 if they're in the market for another car for the purpose of space due to the styling since they probably will have a toy around anyway.

It's a car that tries to fulfill too many roles at once in my opinion and falls into a niche market ultimately.
