not that i still care about F1 racing these days (well, not since like 2002 or so lol), but the best F1 racing driver in the world is back! Let's see if he can once again dominate the league as he used to.

Also heard that Massa is up and about, and that there has been no damage to his eye. I look for him to return next season.

A few days ago I watched F1 for the first time in many years and couldn't believe how ugly the cars have become in general... urgh.

All I can say to you naysayers is, F1 is the highest level of motorsports engineering on the face of the earth. Everything serves a purpose from the wings swwops and swell, to the engine that you could carry under one arm that idles at 11 grand and redlines at 20 aand belts out 7-800 horsepower

I was fortunate enough to go to one of the last Montreal races and take pictures next to the fence, and having those guys scream by out of a corner is something else, 4 feet from your toes

It his racing on a much higher plateau than NeckCar or even Indy as of late. We are just showing our ignorance if thats all we think is racing. I hate the way F1 is run, but it still is the pinnacle

And really your on a Camaro forum and I didn't see any negative F1 comments from anyone. It's just nuts to go off on this community for no reason at all. I can give you some forums that if you posted this there would probably be a lot of people that hate sports cars and racing if you want to get people worked up or scream at someone.

But there is no high horse for F1 over U.S. domestic racing. It's different but better is a perspective.

Sorry, didn't really mean to make it sound like I was going off on the forum. Just a little suprised there were a few who didn't know who Schumi was. Its all good, I love all motorsports

I'm a McLaren fan, but I'm glad to hear that Massa is doing alright. I was really worried when they said he may never race again because of his eye.

As for Schumi, let's just hope he doesn't intentionally crash into someone.

They play that crap all the time, due to pecking order on the team. Schumi was nevery really tested because he always had a willing patsy on his team. I miss the days of teammates actually having a fierce rivalry like Senna and Prost, Pironi and Villeneuve, Foyt/Andretti, Yarlborough/Allison. They hated each other and the fans loved it. Everybody has been laying around in such awe of Shumi, they've rolled over and let him have his way too much

I love to see that he is back, but I'd love to see him get his ass beat too every once in a while

this sucks, I haven't watched qualifying and the race yet because I've been busy running errands to watch my dvr'ed qualifying/race. I'll have to watch it so I can search and ssee what's going on with the Ferrari Team.
