What does the OP have any thing to do with the price of the Z/28? GM is a mass marketed company with almost unlimited resources and tech. This company is a start-up hand building their cars (not on an assy line) for a specific niche of customer. Personally I don't see how anyone would purchase one of these Frankenstein cars for 250k but hey it's not my money they are spending. Way better cars out there or multiples for the price.

I agree with you but I started to believe they didn't want "us" to by the car anyway..."us" being the majority of hard working Americans with a mortgage, 2 kids, 2 car payments, 2 dogs...you know, the "average" Joe

I was just talking to a coworker about this yesterday. Looks like Steve McQueen's Bullitt and a Firebird bumped uglies and had a retro baby lol. Really digging the interior though. Understandably a tough sell for the general masses, but seems priced appropriately for their target demographic. Definitely a luxury lifestyle purchase.

Perspective my friend. The car shown was said to be a new era Muscle-car with lots of performance goodies. Hence the comparison.

Do I personally think the Z/28 is expensive? Yes. Do I think it overpriced? Not really. I do believe it has wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more than most expected, therefore driving the price up.

That's because it is a nice car.
The Z/28 is a bad ass car and the price is justified with what you are getting in a car.
