Hi gang.

I'm little over 1/2 through my Barrett Jackson gig. I've had a really great time. Tuesday I was dog - tired and went right to bed when I got home. Only drove 2 cars then had cart duty. Yuk.

Today I drove more cars including a real neat 1931 Ford Model A A and tanker trailer. At first was afraid of driving something like that across the stage, but as I drove it, I became more comfortable. It was real cool, even though it ran out of gas.

I saw you driving that tanker! It was cool. Hope you get to drive some cool cars today. Have fun. I pulled the tanker pic from facebook for ya.

It is my Friday. We have pretty much decided to just drive my truck tomorrow unless something worse happens while Mike is driving it today. Gatlinburg already has a bunch of snow & more expected so we will definately need 4X4. Our weather guy just said "Gatlinburg is pretty much shut down right now because of snow & ice." Now being a ski town, I'm sure they will get it going but still with snow expected off & on today through next week they will probably be requiring 4X4 or chains to go up the mountain.

One more day of work & I'm outa here! My alarm did not go off this morning but I woke up only a little late but still, I better get myself going. Have a good day everyone.

Uploads were successful this morning. Except for the Elvis Caddie, I drove these. Thanks for the assistance Jan!

That Toronado looks like an identical twin to the one I got a ride in once (I'd been hitchhiking on a Massachusetts highway back around 1967). Probably no way of knowing, but I sort of wonder if it could be the same car. Never forgot it, oddball speedometer and all.

Thanks for the picture.

It is my Friday evening & all my work is done. Packing now I off to Gatlinburg in the morning. Cross your fingers for us that the truck holds up. Gotta go finish packing now. I'll check in here when I can but will have limited net access. Don't work too hard next week & stay out of trouble crew. Jan out!

Edit: Well just checking in while I drink mt coffee. We got a dusting of snow early this AM. Some KY schools closed. LOL It will likely be snowing on the mountain today. Lots to do now. Later crew.

Very cool pictures for sure. Not sure I could stay focused with all the eye candy. It's photo Friday but I don't have anything to attach right now. Jan would be very disappointed if there were no post here today!

Best I can do to get at least a couple of pics up . . .

More or less what I'd be doing tomorrow except the track day got cancelled (weather).

Quiet in here. Good morning from the snowy Great Smoky Mountains. It spit snow here most of the day yesterday but just enough snow to be pretty. The truck did fine on the drive. Weird that to only makes the clunking sound when in reverse. I wonder what it could. I will try to post up a pic but sometimes I have difficulty from my I phone. it will be a pic from our balcony. Happy Saturday all.

I did not do a darn thing today! Sat around, read some magazines, played in my IPhone, watched Barrett- Jackson auction, played with Ruby Too & got in the jacuzzi for a while. Nice day. Supposed ya snow tonight. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Sure is quiet in here so maybe so. Looking forward to seeing some more pics from Barrett-Jackson. Bed time now. Sweet dreams all.

Size: 90.9 KBWell the predicted heavy snow last night dissipated & we did not get a single flake here. Looks like the top of the mountains may have gotten some. Another lazy day planned. The long holiday weekend plus good snow on the ski slopes have roads too traffic jammed to be worth getting out. We will put on a big pot of veggie soup & just enjoy the view & the nice condo. HAGD all.

What a difference a day makes. Last night's snow never materialized. Today it warmed up. Not much snow left up on Mt LeConte. I am quite sure the hiking trails are still I've covered but from here the tree tops are snow free. I did some exercise this morning but otherwise another lazy day. Here are a couple of pics from today: Mt LeConte, Daddy's girl at the resort & the pool/office area.
Dumb IPhone will only let me post one pic at a time so separate posts.
