New Member (The Enemy)

Hello all,
New member from South Louisiana.
I drive a 2011 Shelby GT500.

But really looking for info for my son.
He's looking at a 2014 Camaro RS I believe (V6).
I'm not really up to date on the new Camaro's so just being nosey and looking around seeing what kind of common issues they are having with these cars.

I doubt he will be looking at modding it right away, besides maybe exhaust.

Welcome to the forums!

This is a great site to learn about the 2014's. Plenty of helpful vendors to PM about exhaust setups also.

I'm supposed to take a girl serious?? Just picking.

The way I see it, typical kid, NEVER listens to his parents.LOL

Seriously, I'm not brand specific, I've owned a few different brands and had both good luck and bad luck with all.

No enemy to me. I respect the Mustangs, and hope to add a Shelby to my collection at some point. Welcome!

Welcome. Step up to the V8. The rights mods, Down the road of course. The kids Camaro might just eat that GT500. Ut oh. Dad, You might need a faster car. Better stick with the V6. Either way Good luck.

At least one of you hasn't lost their marbles!

Welcome. Yes, there's all sorts of information on the 2014 Camaros available.

A good place to start is the Chevy website:

http://www.chevrolet.com/camaro-spor...-your-own.html

Putter around the Camaro5 site, ask questions in the forums, and learn about the positives/negatives.

Then start hitting up dealers to get your best price.

Good luck!

My son is 19 and a little too wild for a V8 sport car, maybe later.
Besides he would never be able to afford mods to even come close to my GT500
