Here are some pics of the F-150 for those that were curious.

Looks a lot more like the Atlas than I thought it would, some trims to me are awful, some are decent looking.

It looks like a Super Duty. That's not a bad thing.

I think it looks pretty sharp, but I may have a slight Ford bias.

Hopefully it looks more muscular in person than the previous generation does.

They got the muscle down if you ask me. In fact I think it looks more like a heavy duty rather than a half ton, which I'm not sure is a good thing.

I'm back and forth on this one...some shots I like and others not so much, but Ford is once again really going after it with this truck. Its pretty apparent they plan to take hold of this segment again and not let go for a long time.

I'll be very curious to see what kind of power and economy numbers that 2.7 V6 turbo can put up. The writer of the Motortrend article (sounds like a fanboy article) says he thinks it will see up to 30+ mpg highway. I call BS on that one. Article also says up to 700 lbs lost, which I know has been a rumor for a long while, but I don't think that has actually been confirmed, so we can't say for sure how much it actually lost when you compare across similar trim levels.

Overall, impressed with the overall package I've seen so far, but not completely blown away either. Lots more to learn about this truck yet.

I work with a guy that has a 2012 F-150. Said he loves the Atlas and was afraid he'd like the 2015 too much and "have" to spend money lol.

I showed him a couple shots, and he decided he wasn't a fan. Of course, opnions change, but so far thats how it is.

It has potential, but until they show the production model I'll be a negative skeptic. Been burned too many times from hot looking concepts.
I don't mean to toot my own horn but I do believe I hit the nail on the head.

Yes I am very curious to see the MPGs. Also curious to see the weight loss figures. I can't wait to see one in person and I cant wait to drive one. My next vehicle will be a truck, and I have 3 candidates right now, the F-150, the Sierra and the Canyon(if the canyon is in teh right price and MPGs that's where I would lean).

If the 2.7 Eco boost gets great mileage and is able to get out of its own way, that could be an option for me.

and KMP I totally agree with you, some shots its very impressive and others make me think its hideous.

This one has lots of promise though

If I was in the market for a new full size pickup right now it would be a Ford . SUV I would choose the Escalade.

I'm impressed by the engineering, nice to see Ford finally get the weight down.

Design? Meh.

That pic makes it look like it is too big for it's wheels.

I am so unimpressed by the production version, like Fen said the engineering is great...but I feel like it kept alot of design features of the concept but somehow lost the attitude.

I was hoping I would like it, but it is ugly. It's a shame.

If you look at the Atlas vs. the F150 from the show...they really aren't that different. Throw some tint onto the F150, some aggressive tires, and make the grille chrome instead of body color, and you've just about got the Altlas:

I guess those big ports on either side of the grille didn't make it over. They give the Atlas grille a more aggressive look.
