Old is as old does I guess. Just not a young 'un any more. We don't have any rules per se. If you like hanging out here with us, we won't run you off.

Another slow day at work today. Productity in Dec sucked & January will also. I guess there won't be any bonus any time soon. Grrrrrrrr! Oh well, I have my headers & have the $ for my tune pretty well together. The cosmetic mods may have to wait a while longer at this rate. It was a dreary day with intermittant rain/sleet/snow/drizzle throughout the day. Pepper probably looks like she has been salt & peppered now as they had sprayed another round of brine this morning then the roads were wet from the rain on the trip home.

I sort of dread this meeting with the new supervisor in the morning. Just have no idea what to expect from her or the other changes that are in store for us. Oh, well, nothing is permanent but change.

Not a good day,,, I am not in a good place.. wife came home and told me she quit today. Thought I came home early and she was already home was weird but stress is getting to her at work. Long story short she still has an in as she is the shining star at work and they love her.. I told her if she wants to quit to do it right and give notice and offer to help replacement if they will not help her out with some of the stress causers at the office... that is another story.. Sorry, I gotta vent somewhere without going "Full Retard" at home.

Hang in there Midlife ConVERT! Stressful work places suck big time. Problem is, it always comes home with you. My wife has taught High School now for 26 1/2 years, loves the kids, hates the politics, and has almost cashed in a million times from the stress. Three more years and she's retired if she can hang on. Hope things work out for you and the wife. Put the top down and go for a nice long drive somewhere scenic and let off some steam!

Yep! sounds like some Camaro therapy is needed. I can relate. Been there & don't that a few times. Having thoughts of quitting myself but hanging in there for now. Hope things work out for the best somehow & soon!

Good luck with your meeting. I've been through the same thing and have learned to keep my mouth shut. Be VERY careful offering your opinion to someone you don't know because you never know what they will do with it.

Good Friday Morning! Well I'm Up but not fully awake yet. NEED COFFEE!!! I still do NOT look forward to this meeting but at least it is Friday & a short work day. It is still cloudy, drizzly & dreary here with a few storms possible tonight. It is supposed to be rainy off & on this weekend too. I just need it to stop long enough to back Ruby up & start her up & let her engine run for a while. After that cold snap I need to make sure her battery is not drained. Have a good Friday everyone.

My wife intends to work up to her 65th birthday, which is less than a year off. Her work situation is not nearly as pleasant as it was before some foreign corporation bought the company, shuffled managers and people all around for no apparent reason, and brought in a few folks from abroad who generally treat the work force like crap. She's quit two different jobs before and she'd walk out of this one Monday if it wasn't for the Social Security and medical insurance/Medicare consequences.
