Okay crew, I have been invited to participate in the ground level of a new health supplement/food company. I am still learning about it but what I have heard so far sounds pretty good. Check it out & let me know what you think about it & if you might be interested in joining during the pre-launch phase. Right now there is no cost or obligation just learning more & if you like what you see, getting ready to be in on the ground level yourself. Watch a video here & if you want to learn more, join my team.

Where are all my weight loss peeps? I want some input on what you think about Xseed. I can send you more information but it is in a PDF file so I can't post it here. If you want more information than is in the video at the link above send me a PM with an e-mail address.

I'm always weary of these types of programs. First, they talk about a revolutionary break through in fat loss. Sorry, I don't believe it. Then they say they are going to offer products that have been time tested for 2 decades, so I'm not sure which it is. What it boils down to is that it may be good as a source of income but the products themselves I think are like 99% of everything in the supplement industry, either useless, under dosed or contain ingredients readily available in whole foods.

Too many excuses in here. You can't keep finding reasons to skip a workout. What we need to do is break down each one you individually and then build you back up a better person. Until you are embarrassed or ridiculed you will never have that special motivation to change your ways and attain your goal. I built back up 20 men this past year so I feel experienced enough to help you all.

First off, you all need someone to STAY on you. Wether it be a spouse or friend.

Mine is my exercise class instructor but now I'm facing my job changing which will result in losing my class as well. I will have to find someone else to push me. I was doing pretty well pushing myself to lose weight before the next C5 fest but not looking like I will be going this year so I don't have that either. After the holidays are over, I'll get serious about developing a new plan and finding new motivation.

On Xseed, I'm not feeling too good about it since I found out it is not gluten free & I won't be able to use it anyway. You'd think if they are trying to revolutionize the weight loss industry, they'd consider the possibly 1 in 3 people who have some level or sensitivity to gluten. Kind of hard to push something you can't use yourself. I'm just soooooo disheartened with my job & the changes that are coming, I'm looking for something else. It was worth a look see.

Well then in that case.... It won't matter what I weigh, eat or do today.

If in fact there is a tomorrow, I'll cross that bridge then.

80lbs in four months? I think it's do-able. We'll see.

That's a tall order to fill. A reasonable and healthy weight loss goal would be 1-2 lbs weekly on average.

I hear you completely, but I'm a special case. I lost 20 lbs in September by cutting out meat and home cooking all of my meals with no salt or butter. Basically oatmeal, fruit, veggies. And I ate four or five times a day, so I wasn't starving.

Basically when I don't eat fast food the weight literally falls off of me.

So if you any of you guys own stock in McDonald's, now is the time to sell, any time I diet that stock loses a few points.

I'm not trying to be an ass here but that is absolutely ridiculous. What makes you think you are a special case? Do you have special genetics?

There is no doubt you will loose weight like that but is weight loss your goal or fat loss? There is a huge difference. I can almost guarantee the weight you dropped was water weight and muscle. Without protein in your diet muscle loss is almost guaranteed. Cutting out salt most likely stopped water retention which was the remainder of the weight loss. ALWAYS EAT YOUR PROTEIN. Protein keeps you feeling fuller longer and the body does not easily store protein as fat as it does with carbs. What about macro nutrients, although veggies and fruits are healthy there are nutrients they do not provide. Fruits are a touchy subject, although healthy and not processed they are full of fructose and in case you don't know fructose is SUGAR. You can and should eat fruits but a piece or two a day, you cannot live on it. You should definitely cut out fast foods, limit salt intake, (you do need some sodium, it's actually an electrolyte which the body needs) and eat your veggies but you must eat protein and should eat it with every meal. Good protein sources are chicken, eggs, fish, turkey lean cuts of meat. Legumes are a good protein source but are not complete proteins, they lack some of the amino acids that make for complete proteins. What about fat, fat is absolutely essential for many body functions, I'm not talking trans fat and saturated fats like in your Big Mac but healthy fats, omega 3,6 and 9's found in nuts, seeds, avacardo's, fish, egg yolks (limit them to one or two)

Honestly you should rethink your method of weight loss, have you ever thought of adding some exercise in the mix, there is a big difference in how you look when you carry some muscle on your bones. It takes more calories to sustain muscle, the more muscle the leaner you get.

What do you eat and have in your pantry? Be honest. And do you have any equipment at home?
