Hey Bbrown... when did you order yours? I ordered mine 11/18 and just got to 3300 and I too am looking to see what the wait time is. Probably the end of Jan. or early Feb. is my guess because BG will shut down for 2 weeks for the Christmas holiday.

Good luck, it's gonna be fun!

Production is unstable, but when stable, 3400 comes up the week before assembly. In the past few weeks that is happening more often but not as consistently as normal.

I read an article where they are going to start producing out of sequence which is rare giving priority to those that can be easily finished and moved out. I also read an article where they are predicting a 1year backlog on z-51's...that sucks

sorry 1st got distracted, I have a long story that involves a Cadillac ATS "Buy Back" and I was lucky enough to get one already in production with a few comprimises, it was at 3000 when I committed and that was the week before Thanks Giving.

I would like a reference to both articles, if you do not mind. Links would be nice but I should have no problem tracking down an in print article.

I am not sure what is meant by "producing out of sequence" so if there is an explanation please provide.

As I have posted so many times that no one can keep count, the Z51 option historically has been limited in numbers produced; limited be another term for constrained. It is an historical fact of life and the only way around it would be that GM build up a two or three year supply of Z51 components before starting regular production. That may b an acceptable course to Z51 buyers but what about those who want the best but not necessarily the Z51? Yes I have a prejudice and that prejudice does not favor a Z51 for me.

That being said: reference to the article(s) would be appreciated.

A lil confused since I asked Chevy to give me an update and got the most vague response ever about it possibly being in production but no promises as the next thing is the TPW

Bbrown, not worrying too much as I just went to 3400 yesterday
So I guess a couple of weeks would put me right in the middle of the Xmas break

Moving some, but back in the waiting game.

what I am hearing is (2) things:
1) there is really no rhyme, reason or consistency to the 2014 delivery timeline once you hit 3400
2) it is what it is

update after requesting updated info from the dealer I was told it is on the truck heading my way. That was less than (7) days from 3400 to on the truck heading to the dealer. I think they are ratcheting up production for the holidays
