They need to let go of this keeping with the retro theme and just build a cool muscle car design and more forward. For your viewing pleasure.

Sorry, but this feels more old school and retro than the Mustang they unveiled to me. I think Ford has realized they have an icon. The '05 was a reset button and now the car can evolve in a 911 manner for the future.

But time will tell and once again yay for more competition!
Al Oppenheiser was asked about that when they released the Z/28, and he said everything was fair game.

But they didnt design the car FOR Europe. They are simply releasing it there and a handful of other places I believe. Europeans and Austrailians have been buying these cars for years, paying gobs of money to ship and import, and more to convert to right hand drive. This is just a way to reward them for their years of support while increasing the market.

Ford only expects 10% of its volume to come from the savages over the pond

Sometimes I wish they wouldve never came out and said it would be offered over seas (i do know why they did though) because now the only thing I hear is "it is too European, doesn't look American Muscle enough..." bull shit. The car looks fine and too many people just like buzz words like European and Fusion. ..

It wasn't that Ford said that they would offer it overseas .But that they said that the mustang would be made to appeal to Europeans and les muscle.

Well you can blame Ford for that because they set out to do that by "benchmarking" European cars and having a global reveal at several countries throughout the world. Seems a lot time and effort was spent on just 10%; so to me it's obvious they want to increase global sales even if means alienating some potential domestic buyers. After all of that; they still have to contend with the Camaro from a sales perspective whether they chose to accept that or not.

Yea, I agree! The 5th Gen didn't need to ditch any muscle or Anything to appeal to the world. Just look at all the Celebes that has one that isn't from the US. Most have the camaro or the Challenger out of the three. Who would have thought that David Beckham would like or even drive anything American but he has a 5th gen camaro But the 15 mustang will sell over overseas.

Well, I can vouch for Santa, but eight tiny reindeer yield very little venison. Paw up my new roof will ya.

He said that because of 1. Priduction numbers of the z28 and 2. The price of the z28. An average Camaro buyer will not be seriously considering a $70k+ Camaro
